This app has no account, no sign in and no server of its own. Your position, your grids, your waypoints and your pace count are stored on your device and are never transmitted anywhere by this app.

Location

The app reads your position from the device to show a grid, a bearing and a distance. It is used on the device and written only to that device's storage. It is not uploaded, not shared and not sold.

Motion

If you calibrate a pace count, the app reads your step count from the device's motion sensor for the length of that calibration. It stays on the device.

Crash reports

The app uses Firebase Crashlytics, a Google service, to report crashes. A report carries the state of the program when it failed: a stack trace, the device model and the operating system version. It carries no coordinate, no waypoint and no name. Google processes this data on our behalf and is required to protect it to the same standard set out here. Google's own terms are at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Usage analytics

Only if you turn it on. It records which screens are opened and how often, through Google Analytics for Firebase. It carries no coordinate, no waypoint name and no text you typed. You can turn it off in More at any time, and turning it off deletes the identifier it was held against.

No advertising

No advertising, no tracking across apps or websites, and no advertising identifier is read. The app asks for no tracking permission because it does none.

Deleting the app

Deleting the app removes everything it holds. There is no copy anywhere else, because there is nowhere else.

Files you export

Files you export are produced on the device and handed to whatever you choose to send them to. Where they go after that is between you and that app.

Children

The app is not directed at children, collects no personal information from anyone, and asks for no age.

Your rights

Because there is no server, there is no copy of your data for anyone to give you, correct or erase: it is on your device and it is yours. If you have turned usage analytics on and want the identifier it was held against deleted, turn analytics off in More and it is deleted. Anything else, write to ovemora.support@gmail.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated date at the top changes with it, and the version inside the app is updated in the same release.

This site

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and embeds no trackers. It loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which sees the request. The support form posts to FormSubmit, which relays the message to the support inbox and does not keep it.
